Generally kegel exercises is the one which women typically do to tighten the birth canal in preparation for childbirth, however, men can also do this kegel men exercise as this exercise improves bladder control. The Kegel exercises strengthen all the muscles in the pelvic area, especially those used to stop and start urination. These muscles should be strong enough to control the burst of the bladder.
To practice Kegel men exercises for bladder control, first you have to recognize the muscles in the pelvic area. To do so, when you're urinating try to stop the urinating in mid-flow. You can feel the muscles which work when you try to stop urine.
Now, you can do kegel men exercise whenever, wherever. Hold these muscles for 4 second and then release for 10 second, then tighten them again and release again. Keep on doing this exercise for 10 or 20 times. Make sure that between each contraction of the muscles you have to you allow the muscles to relax completely. Practice in such a way that you can hold the muscles for 10 seconds and the release for 10 seconds.
These muscles can be exercised while lying on the floor, sitting at a desk, or standing in the kitchen. Using all three positions makes the muscles strongest. You can also do this kegel men exercise in different positions: lying down, sitting, and standing. Practice your Kegel exercises and take care of yourself physically and you may experience better bladder control in time. Be patient. Bladder control may not improve until after three to six weeks.
